Thanks to Robstenation for compiling this K-11 production uber post:

K-11 already wrapped principal filming. Woot! for director, Jules Stewart. Since our last update about the film was when Cameron Stewart joined the cast, here's a roundup of what's been shared online during the month-long (more or less) production.

Below are tweets about K-11's last day and sweet words about MamaStew and the production. Compiled by K-11MovieFansite

Rocker/musician CraigOwens "Sleepover at Jules Stewart's. Never have I met someone so creative, driven, generous, funny and down right BADASS. LOVE her!! #K11 Get stoked!

Tweets about the last day. Markus_Redmond On the set of K-11, time went by way too fast. Thank you, Jules Stewart. You are fantastical! To my K-11 peeps, thank you. In the deepest sense of the words and the bottom of my heart. This ain't goodbye, it's just how we met. #K11. @KstewAngel Jules is generous, innovative and beyond brilliant as a director. Big thanks to our fearless leader, Jules Stewart, the crew and the Real K-11 Twitter Posse for the super support on a great day! #K11

BillyMorrison F*ck. Wrapped. Now what? This feels shitty. Just said goodbye to some VERY cool people on K-11. And Jules Stewart is simply awesome. Last day of shooting for the K-11 posse. I'm gonna miss this sh*t. Older tweets. Don't want this movie to wrap - feel like I've been shooting it for months and everyone is family. Once more unto the breach for K-11. People are starting to get picture-wrapped on K-11. Feeling sad that it's coming to an end. But what an amazing experience it's been.

DBSweeney Wrapped on #K11 today. They are targeting Berlin Film Fest for debut. I think this ones worth the price of admission. (The festival runs from February 9 -19 in 2012)

Variety hinted K-11's "likely preem at Berlin next year" last March.

Costume Department/_Krystyn Wrapped #k11 tonight...Had such a great time working on this movie and; met some really amazing ppl.

August 19, 2011 ammishelle #k11 is done, I feel like its the end of summer camp. It's happy and exciting, but its really sad. Wrap party tomorrow :) :)

Jay Mewes wrapped K-11 August 13th That's a wrap on K-11 for mewes.

BillyMorrison talks about K-11 and Jules on his blog entry " The movie itself looks simply stunning, and trust me when I say you’re going to want to see this thing. Some of the performances have been really intense, and I hope that I threw myself in at the deep end and went for my scenes with even a fraction of the commitment that the other members of the cast displayed. And witnessing writer/director Jules Stewart command the set is something that I will never forget. She is the real deal, a force to be reckoned with, and is a fierce talent."

Kate del Castillo who plays Mousey talks about her role

Actor PJ Byrne talks about working in K-11 I’m also working on K11 with Jules Stewart, who is Kristen Stewart’s mom. DB Sweeney and Goran Visnjic are in it. It’s a pretty intense movie – a really serious, hardcore drama. I like to mix it up.

E!OnLine July 28th "The role Kristen was supposed to play is described as "a beautiful young waif named Butterfly" who, get this, is a transgender man. And to the actress playing Butterfly now—that's Portia Doubleday—we wish you luck, babe! You've got some big, Stewart shoes to fill."

Wouldn't you know it, just when we thought we probably wouldn't see Rob speaking Comanche after news on Unbound Captives dried up, director Madeleine Stowe gives us an update on the project:

She'll start directing The Unbound Captives next year, she said, and already has rounded up the main cast: Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz and Robert Pattinson.
...Did I dream that this was rumoured as being a musical? I can't decide whether that's a good thing or a bad thing... singing Rob: good; dancing Rob: baaad :/

Casting Updates for Kristen Stewart's Snow White and The Huntsman

Kristen Stewart now has parents in her current movie Snow White and The Huntsman. Noah Huntley will play her father the King, while Liberty Ross will play her mother.

Huntley is known for his role in 2002's British horror movie "28 Days Later". He played Mark in the film, opposite Cillian Murphy and Naomie Harris. Meanwhile, Ross is an English model who has recently been cast in Madonna's upcoming drama "W.E."

As for Liberty Ross, I think she has only modeled before this. Don't quote me on it, though. I am still searching.

Kristen's Brother Cameron Stewart to Replace Role in K-11

According to ShowBlitz:
Kristen Stewart won't appear in "K-11," her mom's directorial debut, but big brother Cameron Stewart will, Variety's Josh L. Dickeyexclusively reports.
It'll be the first film credit for K-Stew's older sibling, but not for his co-stars Goran Visnjic, D.B. Sweeney andPortia Doubleday. The film stars Visnjic as a successful young record producer who wakes up after a three-day binge in a special unit of L.A. County’s Men’s Central Jail that's dedicated to vulnerable prisoners, a place ruled by a viper transsexual. (Cameron Stewart will play an inmate named "Sledgehammer.")
Though there was mass speculation that his kid sister of “Twilight” fame would also play a transgendered character, she is not involved in the project, alas. Shooting started July 18 at locations in Woodland Hills and Hollywood, and has moved on to the now-closed Sybil Brand correctional facility for women in Los Angeles County.

Kristen Stewart's Snow White & The Huntsman Turns Trilogy!

Producer Joe Roth tells EW that he plans on making the folktale action-adventure movie into a trilogy. “It’s meant to be the first in a series of films,” he said. “This story will end, but there will be questions remaining for these three characters.”

It’s an ambitious move by the Alice in Wonderland producer, who is in a neck-and-neck competition with a rival Snow White film starring Julia Roberts. Shooting is already underway on that movie, while Roth’s film — which stars Kristen Stewart and Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth as the title characters and Charlize Theron as her wicked royal highness– begins principal photography in August.

The two movies will open roughly two-and-a-half months apart next year. Roth’s movie debuts second, on June 1, but he’s hoping audience’s will be drawn in by a Lord of the Rings-style take on the centuries-old tale.

See below for more on the film …

“We retain the basic story in the same way we retain the basic story of Alice, a young girl meant to be the queen who is cast out,” Roth says. “The Huntsman is a mercenary, in the sense that he’s a guy who is very able in the woods, more able than most anyone. His job is to capture runaway girls, who are all fleeing the kingdom because of the queen. He’s a nondescript bounty hunter, as we first meet him.”

But he’s no killer, Roth stresses. Snow White’s bounty is the first time he has been directed to return with only a part of the missing girl — her heart.

When he finds he doesn’t have it within his to cut hers out, the two become unlikely allies — at first fleeing the Queen’s forces, and then mounting a counterattack on her kingdom.

“He’s not a nice guy, but not only that he’s someone who has lost hope and lost faith. He has lost his wife, given up on everything,” the producer says.

This take on the character of Snow White is also different from the sweetly-singing princess we’ve seen before. “She starts out not a damsel in distress, but innocent and after 11 years of imprisonment by the Evil Queen, she escapes and learns the ways of a warrior in the woods, ” according to Roth.

Expect major battle sequences if the previous work of first-time feature director Rupert Sanders is any indication. He is known for harrowing (and sometimes hilarious) live-action ads for videogames Halo 3 and Call of Duty, as well as the NSFW short-film adaptation of the graphic novel Black Hole.

As for casting Stewart in the role: “Frankly what we did, we searched high and low for an unknown. Which was my want after Alice,”he says. “As we went through it, it just became evident to me that Kristen occupies a space in the universe where she’s a terrific actress only known for one part. I hope this is a movie that will appeal to those who find Twilight appealing, but also (Stewart) is someone who has some piss and vinegar in her.”

If the “fairest of them all” is described that way, imagine how the Evil Queen will be.

“She’ll be larger than life,” Roth chuckles. “Evil without any burden of guilt.”

Expect more details when Snow White and the Huntsman makes its presentation at Comic-Con later this month.
