Queen Elizabeth II Gives Royal Wedding Consent

She's celebrating her 85th birthday today (April 21), and Queen Elizabeth II was spotted out at the Royal Maundy Day Service at Westminster Abbey in London.The Queen of England was giving her formal marriage consent to Prince William and Kate Middleton for their upcoming April 29th nuptials.


Under the Great Seal of the Realm, she signed an elaborate notice of approval that proclaimed in transcribed calligraphy her consent to the union of "Our Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales, K.G., and Our Trusty and Well-Beloved Catherine Elizabeth Middleton."
The document was signed by the Queen back on February 9th, but it was officially publicized earlier today.

Royal Wedding Cars and Carriages Preparation

With a little over a month to go before the royal wedding between Prince William and his fiancee Kate Middleton, preparations are fully underway to ensure everything is ready on time.

The 1902 State Landau carriage will be used to carry Prince William and Kate Middleton in the event of good weather on their wedding day
