Please note that this is not a Film Festival event - this is an event by the Creative Coalition that is taking place during the same time that the Toronto International Film Festival is takes place.



As it is noted in the quote of their press release:



The awards will be bestowed to honorees during the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.

Anna Kendrick and Ashley Greene are honorees for the 2011 Spotlight Initiative Awards.

The award show takes place at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday, September 10 in the Roosevelt Room.



The official announcement reads:

The Creative Coalition is pleased to announced that Ashley Greene (Butter, Twilight), Anna Kendrick (50/50, Up in the Air), David Paymer (Twixt, The American President), Morgan Spurlock (Comic Con: Episode IV – A Fan’s Hope, Super Size Me) and Roland Emmerich (Anonymous, 2012) have been named as honorees for the 2011 Spotlight Initiative Awards. The awards will be bestowed to honorees during the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.

Of this year’s event, Robin Bronk, the Creative Coalition CEO, said, “The range of work from this year’s honorees is a true testament to why we created the Spotlight Initiative Award.”

Anna Kendrick got her birthday celebrations on early whilst in Las Vegas last night.

Looking lovely as ever, Anna got her party on at the Vanity night club at The Hard Rock before her actual birthday next Tuesday August 9th.

Anna Kendrick was spotted at Sundance Institute’s “Celebrate Sundance Institute” benefit in Beverly Hills last night (June 8).

Celebrate Sundance Institute supports the nonprofit Sundance Institute and its year-round programs in Feature Film, Documentary, Theatre, Film Music, and Native Film.
