Anna Kendrick & Ashley Greene Will Be Honored At TIFF!

Please note that this is not a Film Festival event - this is an event by the Creative Coalition that is taking place during the same time that the Toronto International Film Festival is takes place.



As it is noted in the quote of their press release:



The awards will be bestowed to honorees during the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.

Anna Kendrick and Ashley Greene are honorees for the 2011 Spotlight Initiative Awards.

The award show takes place at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday, September 10 in the Roosevelt Room.



The official announcement reads:

The Creative Coalition is pleased to announced that Ashley Greene (Butter, Twilight), Anna Kendrick (50/50, Up in the Air), David Paymer (Twixt, The American President), Morgan Spurlock (Comic Con: Episode IV – A Fan’s Hope, Super Size Me) and Roland Emmerich (Anonymous, 2012) have been named as honorees for the 2011 Spotlight Initiative Awards. The awards will be bestowed to honorees during the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.

Of this year’s event, Robin Bronk, the Creative Coalition CEO, said, “The range of work from this year’s honorees is a true testament to why we created the Spotlight Initiative Award.”

We are just about to announce that Taylor Lautner will be signing Abduction posters at Comic Con on Thursday!Fans will be able to pick up tickets for the signing at the Lionsgate booth (#3729) at 10am Thursday.
TICKETS ARE LIMITED SO IT’S A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.
Taylor will be signing the posters at 5PM on Thursday in room 28c. Fans will need to bring their tickets to the signing.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 will hit Comic-Con this Thursday, and while Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and director Bill Condon are rumored to be on board for the panel, The Hollywood Reporter confirms that four other cast members will be involved in the madness from miles away.

Elizabeth Reaser and Charlie Bewley will also participate in the Summit project, despite being unable to attend the San Diego convention.The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 will hit Comic-Con this Thursday, and while Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and director Bill Condon are rumored to be on board for the panel, The Hollywood Reporter confirms that four other cast members will be involved in the madness from miles away.
Jackson Rathbone, Elizabeth Reaser and Charlie Bewley won’t be on hand for the actual festivities, but Summit Entertainment tells THR that fans will be given the opportunity to speak with them via telephone.

Attendees are invited to stop by the Summit booth (4029) and submit questions that they would like to ask each of the stars. The ultimate fans with the best questions will be selected to speak with the talent live on the phone.

Who Wears Short Shorts?

Ashley wears short shorts! Sorry, that song popped into my head the second I saw these pictures :)

Ashley Greene was spotted leaving Panera Bread in Los Angeles wearing some shorties. I guess they aren't really that short. Her butt cuppage isn't showing so that's good.

I don't remember Ashley being that umm muscular a few days/weeks ago? Just me?

Ashley Greene At The 10th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball

Ashley Greene looked UH-MAZING at the 10th annual Chrusalis Butterfly Ball.



Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment.



I am not sure what Ashley was doing there, but good for her. Always good to help! I wish the dress would have been just a tad bit above the knee. Love the hair and makeup, as always!

Ashley Greene: Glamour Gorgeous

She’s one of three cover girls for the May 2011 issue of Glamour magazine, and Ashley Greene is simply stunning. In her interview, the “New Moon” babe marvels at the fact that she’s such a huge star, yet she has very little experience in Tinseltown. Ashley explained, “I still am extremely green in some ways. And so each time I work on a character, it is very exciting, very scary.”

As for what lies ahead of the “Twilight Saga” gigs, “It is difficult because people look at you as that character. I want to play a role of a 24-year-old woman, not 17-year-old girls. So I have picked a couple of films like Butter to show that. And it’s perfectly fine not to do anything for a year if I don’t find the right thing.”

And when it comes to keeping her nose clean, “I keep to the ground rules. I’m not going to get drunk at a bar. There are younger girls who look up to me. So I do my best not to stray too far.”
